I am so excited today!
I have always wanted to be an airplane pilot, my Dad was a pilot and I grew up watching him fly away in these big commercial planes, and in some occasions I even got to go with him in the cockpit. Well, today I realized a life-long dream… I got to fly (and be in full control) of an airplane.
My brother and I went to a flight school and each of us took a 45 minute “Discovery Flight”. I actually got to taxi the plane down to the runway, take off, fly and do the approach… I had full control of the plane until about 10 to 15 seconds before touch-down…
